Why Do I Need Study Help?
Parents want the best for their children. But without the proper training and knowledge of curriculum, it can be difficult to improve your child’s performance. Other alternatives (e.g. private tutors, or after school programs) are costly and inconvenient - requiring travel, scheduling conflict, and often don't match their school's current curriculum.
Study Help provides a platform that connects accredited teachers to students to support and enhance standard curriculum.
How Does Study Help Work?
Look through our course catalog, and enroll for the subject/course(s) you'd like to attend. Our courses vary in time and duration, but generally there are 2-3 classes per week. Each course has limited number of students to ensure effective instruction with an outstanding teacher to student ratio. Courses are run online, through video conferencing and document sharing.
Why Is Study Help Different From Tutors or After School Programs?
Our courses are taught by accredited teachers (full time or recently retired teachers who have years of experience in teaching) and content specialists. The course topics are aligned with official curriculum, so our courses truly enhance learning.
How Do I Get Help for My Student?
Study Help makes getting the educational support students need easily attainable. Just follow these simple steps:
Click on the Course Catalog tab to view all the subjects available. The different subject tabs make it easier to find your desired course.
Look through the subjects. Click on Learn More button to book a schedule of your desired course.
Make sure you choose the correct time zone to avoid confusion on the schedule.Then, click on your preferred date and time to view the instructor available for the subject.
Click on Enroll button of your preferred instructor.
A small window will pop up for you to fill out the Stduent Details before proceeding to checkout
The subject will be added to your cart. You can add more subjects you want to enroll by following the same steps. Once you finish choosing the subjects, click on Review Your Cart button to double check the subjects you added to the cart or click the Checkout button to finalize your enrollment.
To continue to checkout, you will need to either sign up for an account if you don't have one yet. If you already have an account, just enter your email address and password and click on the Login button.
If you don't have an account, Fill out the form and click on Sign Up Now button to create your account
Check the Captcha box and click on the Submit button
Once you have successfully signed up, click the Shopping cart and proceed to checkout
Enter your payment information to proceed with the payment
What Can I Expect From Classes?
Once the student is enrolled, they will get an email with all the necessary information for that course. Classes are run over Zoom which is an online sharing and video conferencing platform. Just like with any remote learning, the student needs to make sure they are present at the designated class time and in an environment that is conducive to learning.
Each class is done in a small group setting (except for individual tutoring sessions) in which the teacher will go through relevant curriculum. Because of the small group setting, there will be plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions and have group discussions. This allows students to get any additional support on the things they need help in.
